Let's Talk Broadband + NTIA Collaboration

Writer: Maine Broadband Coalition Maine Broadband Coalition

In a slight departure from our free-wheeling Let's Talk Broadband call that happens each and every Friday, we are pleased to team up with Brooke Barron, NTIA's representative in Maine, to put on a series of presentations about all things BEAD.

These special edition Let's Talk Broadband + NTIA presentations will happen every third Friday of the month. This is a chance to join a group of fellow community leaders, broadband enthusiasts, and generally interested members of the public in hearing the details about the wave of federal funding heading our way. These calls are structured to give Brooke some time to present on any updates or topics of interest to be followed by a question and answer period open to all on the Zoom.

If you're not a frequent reader of our weekly newsletter, you might be asking -- has there already been a session that you've missed? Yes! If you want to get caught up on the call that happened in February -- "BEAD 101" -- check out the recording HERE. Attached below is a PDF of the slides that were presented.

We look forward to teaming up with Brooke and the NTIA to bring this event series to Let's Talk Broadband moving forward. Make sure you don't miss the next one!

This, and every Let's Talk Broadband call, can be seen on the Public Events Calendar at the bottom of our homepage.

This collaboration sounds great! The Q&A section guarantees community engagement, and the inclusion of NTIA's Brooke Barron offers insightful information about BEAD funding. It's great to see opportunities like this aligning with efforts that support broadband initiatives. Additionally, for individuals balancing commitments, resources like the dissertation help uk might be worth looking into for workload management.
